Simon Randall elected NZAF Board Chair

Simon Randall Auckland local body representative Simon Randall has been elected Chair of the New Zealand AIDS Foundation’s Board. Randall has been on a diverse range of governance boards ranging from student organisations to arts and cultural trusts. He is active in the lgbt community and is currently the Chair of the Maungakiekie-Tāmaki Local Board of the Auckland Council. “I am privileged to take over as chair at a time when the AIDS Foundation’s Trust Board is in a good place,” Randall says. “I look forward to playing an active role in ensuring the Foundation continues to build on its many successes but also is more and more able to respond to new challenges.” Randall replaces Andrew Sweet who has stepped down as the Chair, but continues to serve on NZAF’s Board. “Being on the Board in any capacity is a lot of work. And we’re lucky to have qualified, experienced and passionate people believe in NZAF’s mission,” says the NZAF’s Executive Director Shaun Robinson.
