The openly-bisexual broadcaster is replacing notorious homophobe and ex-Labour MP on the afternoon talk show. Mau confirmed at last night's Auckland Pride Gala, which she hosted, that she will be on the airwaves on Monday. She took on the role after parting ways with TV One’s Seven Sharp. General Manager of Talk Brands for MediaWorks Radio Jana Rangooni has said Mau will be a fantastic addition to Radio Live. “Ali is a hugely talented broadcaster. She’s smart, has strong opinions, a great sense of humour and the dynamic between her and Willie will create great talk radio.”
