Out Takes film fest coming back to ChCh

Hollywood Cinemas in Sumner will host the festival New Zealand’s glbti film festival is returning to Christchurch. Out Takes will hold four days of screenings at the Hollywood Cinema in Sumner, from Thursday 12 June to Sunday 15 June. The festival has been aided by Christchurch City Council's Creative Communities fund, to help promote the festival in the South Island. The Christchurch leg will be run by an enthusiastic and committed group of volunteers, who would love help. Anyone who can help with advertising and sponsorship should email chchouttakes@gmail.com Out Takes will be on in Auckland from 22 May to 2 June at Rialto in Newmarket, and from 29 May to 11 June at Paramount in Wellington. The ASB Community Trust has given organisers Reel Queer $5,000 towards the Auckland festival.
