Civic Square has been a hive of activity to get everything ready The weather has come to the party for Out the Square, with everything set up and ready to go at Civic Square. The action starts at 11AM in the annual day of glbti pride, which will this year be headlined by lesbian mum and musician Anika Moa. “It is really great to see the fair coming together. Everyone in the Committee have been working hard to deliver the best Out in the Square yet and we are all thrilled that the day is finally here,” says Co-Chair of the committee running the event Greig Wilson. The fair will be capped off with a pair of parties; a pool party at Thorndon Summer Poll from 7PM tomorrow (entry $5 at the door) and a Wild Jungle After Party at Ivy Bar on Cuba St (Buy tickets here, from Cosmic Corner or on the door) All the profits from the raffle, the Pool Party and the Wild Jungle Party will go towards organising future Out in the Squares.
