Sat 11 Jan 2014 In: New Zealand Daily News View at Wayback

The new ‘Pink Link’ which runs between gay Auckland bars Family and Poof has had a successful first night on the town. Those who enjoyed last night’s maiden voyages were treated to a mini-tour of the city, hosted by the one-and-only Daphne Bush. “It was great!” Bush says of the first night. She says lots of people from overseas, and some locals, enjoyed the new form of club-to-club transit, and has thanked all those who made it a fun night. Pink Link hostess Daphne Bush The bus is free and runs on the hour, every hour till closing, from 9PM on Friday and Saturday nights. Family and Poof staff say it’s about “saving broken heels” while also bringing even more fun and fabulosity to nights out on the town. “It’s all go and it’s all gay!” says Family and Poof hostess Miss Ribena.
