Tickets will go back on sale on Monday for one of the buzz events of Auckland Pride Festival, the Staircase Reunion. Legend’s two levels will be transformed into a throwback of the Auckland favourite for one night only on Saturday 8 February, with Bertha, Tess Tickle and Buckwheat hosting and DJs Tony Young, Alex Taylor, Bevan Keys and James Leuii on the decks. Bertha says it’s all about celebrating a venue which was “central in many of our lives”. “We all have great memories of those times. While I hate living in the past, I love to celebrate the significance of elements that have made me and you who we are today.” Tickets were initially put on sale through Ticketek, however organisers have cancelled that due to “way too expensive” delivery charges of $12. Anyone who purchased them through the outlet will be refunded. Tickets will go back on sale through iticket on Monday – its delivery charge is $2.50.
