Goodshirt are back together and making new music Reunited Kiwi band Goodshirt, dream-pop duo Kittens of the Internet and Lavina Williams of Ma-V-Elle fame will headline this year’s Big Gay Out. Goodshirt hit the height of its popularity in the early 2000s with hits like Sophie and Fiji Baby. After a hiatus from 2005, the group re-formed in 2012 and has just released a new album. Kittens of the Internet are Aucklanders Katie Scott and Mahuia Bridgman-Cooper, whose addictive electronic dream-pop music has been turning heads. You can check them out here Lavina Williams is a former member of popular 90s group Ma-V-Elle, who has been a solo artist since 2000. The LYC Big Gay Out returns to Pt Chevalier’s Coyle Park from midday on Sunday 9 February, as part of the opening weekend of the 2014 Auckland Pride Festival.
