Google buff says 1 in 20 American men gay

Tue 10 Dec 2013 In: International News

File Photo A Google data analyst has done some number crunching and come up with the estimate that five per cent of American men are gay. New York Times contributor Seth Stephens-Davidowitz came to the conclusion using data from surveys, social networks, porn searches and dating websites. He also found that gay men in less tolerant US states were more likely to seek anonymous flings rather than committed relationships, and were less likely to be open about their sexuality. Married women from these states were also the most likely to Google the question "is my husband gay?"
