Central Station A popular gay Moscow nightclub has been filled with poisonous gas, the fourth attack on the venue since Russia introduced its homophobic gay ‘propaganda’ law. A chemical was sprayed inside Central Station on Saturday night, leading to the evacuation of 500 patrons, some of whom sought medical attention. Staff turned on a smoke removal machine and dispersed the gas within minutes. Police are investigating, but have no suspects. A club spokesman’s told LifeNews, the attackers ‘are trying to express their extremist views against the LGBT community which likes to visit out club’. He fears the ongoing campaign is aimed at getting them to vacate the building. It’s the fourth attack on the club since July. Last week two men opened fire outside after they were kept out by security, as they had been harassing patrons. No-one was hurt. Club managers have appealed to police for extra protection.
