Marriage equality coming for Hawaii

Hawaii’s Senate has approved marriage equality for the island state, and it’s expected to be signed into law tomorrow morning. The slightly changed bill delays the date it comes into effect and widens religious exemptions. Governor Neil Abercrombie says he will sign the legislation as amended, tomorrow morning. The law is set to come into effect on 2 December.
