John Tamihere John Tamihere has been given a "snowflake's chance" of becoming a Labour candidate next year by leader David Cunliffe. There were rumours the homophobic broadcaster had been considering trying to make a political comeback. However he is no longer a Labour Party member after not renewing his membership. Cunliffe has told media at Parliament his membership is a matter for the party. "I wouldn't be in a hurry to sign him up and I'd say he's got a snowflake's chance of becoming a Labour candidate."
