Chris Brown released after DC assault

Tue 29 Oct 2013 In: International News View at NDHA

Chris Brown has been released from custody after an attack on a man who he told "I'm not into that gay shit,” when he tried to jump into a photo with him. In the latest run-in involving the unruly singer, he’s is accused of punching Issac Adams Parker in the face outside a Washington DC hotel over the weekend. Witnesses say Brown said “I’m not into that gay shit” then "I feel like boxing," before punching the 20-year-old. His bouncer then allegedly joined in and punched Parker too. Parker suffered a broken nose and Brown was charged with ‘felony assault’, but that has been reduced to a misdemeanour. After a day and a half in custody he’s been released, reportedly pulling the peace sign as he walked free from court. Brown is still on probation for assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009, probation which was reinstated in August after a hit-and-run. Brown has also had a run-in with bisexual singer Frank Ocean in a Hollywood recording studio parking lot in January.
