Sun 27 Oct 2013 In: New Zealand Daily News View at NDHA

File photo Young Chinese and South Asian men who have sex with men are being sought to take part in a study about life in Auckland. The New Zealand AIDS Foundation is funding the research into the largest group of gay Asian people living in New Zealand's biggest city. It's being run by researchers at the SHORE and Whāriki Research Centre and the School of Nursing at Massey University. They say they are interested in interviewing people about their family and culture, lifestyle in Auckland, social lives and relationships, sexual identity and condom use. Participants would need to be willing to have a one hour interview, and will receive a $30 grocery voucher as a thank you. They need to identify as Chinese or South Asian, be under 30 and able to read and speak English. It doesn't matter whether they were born in New Zealand or overseas.
