Singapore: sodomy law challenge dismissed

Sat 5 Oct 2013 In: International News View at Wayback

The High Court of Singapore has dismissed a constitutional challenge against the nation's anti sodomy law. It has reiterated an earlier ruling saying up to Singapore’s parliament to repeal the colonial law criminalising sex between men. The case was brought by a man who was arrested after being found with another man in a public toilet in 2010. He is considering an appeal.
