Dates set, plans underway, for next Gay Ski Week

Wed 11 Sep 2013 In: New Zealand Daily News

Sally and Mandy Whitewoods Gay Ski Week will return next year, with the dates set and planning already underway. Then 2014 event will kick off on 30 August 2014 with a few changes being considered based on the experience of last week's event. Co-organiser Sally Whitewoods of Queenstown says the Cassino Royale night "will be tweaked" in line with her aim of continually freshening up each individual event. An all events pass is under consideration as is the possibility of having tickets sales through the Queenstown Information Centre to cater for people unable to book online or wanting last-minute tickets. Whitewoods says she is very pleased at how this year's Gay Ski Week went off, with most events very well patronised and the final night dance party sold out 24hr before kicking off and more New Zealanders attending than in past years.
