Sat 31 Aug 2013 In: New Zealand Daily News

11.00PM: The opening party of Gay Ski Week is beginning to wind down with several hundred glbti folk, mostly men but with a strong female presence as well,  starting to drift out into the cold clear Queenstown night. Held at the Barbuda venue, adjacent to the winter sport resort's Ballarat Street, and kicking off shortly after 6pm, the party has seen the compact venue packed out with revelers of all ages on the ground floor and free massages offered in a smaller area on t he floor above. Auckland's Miss Ribena has put in a rowdy appearance and  to loud cheers commented on the large number of Australians at the event.
