Coronet Peak Queenstown's skifields have had a "fantastic dump" of fresh snow which has perfectly set the scene for Gay Ski Week which kicks off tomorrow. "We had a fantastic dump of snow on Wednesday night which has left the mountains covered in powder," says Gay Ski Week co-organiser Sally Whitewoods. The Remarkables and Coronet Peak skifields snow conditions are "awesome" for the week ahead, she says. “It’s our chance to showcase Queenstown at its best to the gay and lesbian community.” Each year many pf Queenstown's business enter into the spirit of Gay Ski Week by decorating their premises and sometimes their staff with a gay flavour.  “We’re looking forward to seeing who can out-shine last years’ memorable YMCA window display from Outside Sports and the rainbow cupcake display at Cup
