Sally and Mandy Whitewoods A same-sex winter wedding is up for grabs in a just-announced promotion organised in association with Gay Ski Week early next month. Gay Ski Week 2013 has announced it is "joining the nation's celebration of same-sex marriage" by offering a winning lucky couple a Gay Winter Wedding in Queentown. The same-sex wedding will take place in the internationally-renowned winter resort on the 6th of September as part of the DNA Gay Ski Week this year. "This gives one lucky couple a chance to have everything organised for them with some amazing things included in the prize," says Gay Ski Week organiser Sally Whitewoods. The wedding package has been put together by Gay Ski Week Queenstown and the Queenstown Wedding Association. Besides the wedding, Whitewoods says there are "plentiful of entertaining and ever-changing events" planned for Ski Week including the Shotover Jet boat ride. She is anticipating over 1,000 glbti people coming into Queenstown for the annual event, which kicks off on August 31st. A variety of promotional weddings are scheduled for the coming weeks including events created by radio stations, Air New Zealand and tourism authorities.
