The New Zealand Falcons are readying for a fundraising auction this Thursday night, to help them with their bid to get to the Bingham Cup. The gay and inclusive rugby team has begun training for the ‘gay rugby world cup’ which is being held in Sydney next year. On Thursday night it’s holding a dinner auction at Marcello’s on Auckland’s College Hill. The evening includes a three course meal and a cash bar. The MC for the evening is Paul Heard of Urge Bar and guest auctioneer is Mark Knoff-Thomas. Among the items up for grabs will be weekends away to the winterless north, consultation and celebrants services, a cruise to Milford Sound and accommodation in Te Anau, a collectors signed copy of the Hobbit, and two whole Lamb meat packs.
