Tony Simpson After standing down as Chair, Tony Simpson has quickly been made the inaugural Honorary President of Rainbow Wellington. The Board decided creating the role would be a good move, in order to supplement its Patron and Vice Patron positions. The title has no constitutional role, but is designed as a gesture to highlight each year a person or people who have contributed notably to LGBTI communities. Simpson has just stood down after several years as Chair of Rainbow Wellington.
