Miles' mugger receives home detention

Hayden Miles The man who mugged gay teenager Hayden Miles on the night he was murdered has been sentenced to home detention. Timothy John Kuka, 38, had admitted a charge of demanding with menaces. He bashed Miles and took his a cask of wine, iPod and cellphone. The teen’s mother Jacqueline Miles told the court that seeing Kuka sentenced helped to end “this horrific nightmare” for her and her family, Court News reports. She told Kuka as she read a statement in court: "You are a man of 38. Shame on you. I hope you will never hurt a young boy again like this."
