Ivy Leeague Ivy Leeague has taken out the first of the long weekend's pageants, winning Switch Bar's Drag Race. Ivy is celebrating on her birthday, and says the win marked on of the best days of her life. "I had so much fun and it meant a lot to have so much support and love," she says. Tonifah Maneater was runner-up at the Auckland bar, while Kita Mean took out third place. Roxxy Fierce won Queen of Hearts, which means her chosen charity Rainbow-Youth Aotearoa will receive a $250 donation. Ivy has congratulated all her "amazing sisters" who made the Drag Race final. "You were all phenom and should be exceptionally proud," she says. "I was proud to perform along side you all. It's comforting to know that there's such a bright future for drag in Auckland." In the other pageant this weekend, the new Mr Gay Wellington will be crowned at Ivy on Sunday night.
