The Cartier Trust has banked $1,950 from the event, $920 from the door and $1,030 a percentage of the bar. Cartier Trustees are thanking all those who dug deep and made the event such a huge success. Over 15 acts took to the stage in memory of much-loved drag artist Courtney Cartier and there was even a special performance from the Founding Trustee of the Cartier Trust, Karen Ritchie. “Wigarama is an opportunity for us to remember those we have lost to HIV while at the same time celebrating all of the beauty in our community” Ritchie says. “A huge amount of work goes into the event and the Trust would like to sincerely thank Tess, Wayne Clarke and all those who gave their time and energy” .
