Georgina Beyer has revealed she has been diagnosed with chronic kidney failure. The ground-breaking former MP has told Woman’s Day she will need to have kidney dialysis four times a day for the rest of her life until she gets a kidney transplant. "I'm sure as hell not going to sit back and think, 'Woe is me.' I refuse to be defeatist,” the 55-year-old told the magazine. "This health issue has cast a huge shadow, but I'm going to be positive and proactive.”
