'Gay baby Jesus' billboard up for auction

Thu 4 Apr 2013 In: New Zealand Daily News View at Wayback View at NDHA

An Auckland church is selling the ‘gay baby Jesus’ billboard that was talked about across the globe. Bids for the vinyl skin of the billboard have already passed $300 on Trade Me. “In God's eyes we are all equal, so whether you're gay, Christian or fanatical about something or other, you are all welcome to join in this auction, which is supported by each and all at St-Matthew-In-The-City,” the listing reads. Someone asks whether it would be to repaint it and “make him a straight baby Jesus,” to which the seller replies: "Of course Jesus, that would be cool with us."
