A documentary which tells the funny, heart-breaking and inspiring stories of nine gay New Zealand men has been released on DVD and for digital download. Men Like Us is work of New Zealand filmmaker Christopher Banks. It opens a window on the lives of nine gay men, aged 24 to 78, highlighting the common threads in Kiwi gay men's continuing struggle for everyday happiness in a straight man's world. Banks created Men Like Us as a response to decades of local and international research showing that gay men are at higher risk for depression and suicide. You can order a copy here
