Sun 2 Dec 2012 In: New Zealand Daily News

Silipa Take A court appearance for a former New Zealand AIDS Foundation counsellor charged with indecent assault has been delayed. Silipa Take is facing two charges of indecent assault of a man or boy over the age of 16 and arising from claims which first surfaced in 2009 when he worked for the Foundation, at its Awhina Centre in Wellington. He will next appear at the Wellington District Court on 19 December, after Friday’s scheduled appearance was postponed at his lawyer’s request. Police continue to investigate and say anyone who contacts them to talk about Take will be treated with total respect, confidentiality and, if they prefer it, total anonymity. They can phone 04 381 2000 and ask for Detective Constable Lesa Eastergaard or Detective Daniel MacIntosh.
