Urge patrons raise more than $3,000 for OUTLine

Sun 4 Nov 2012 In: New Zealand Daily News

Auckland bear bar Urge has raised more than $3,000 for OUTLine with its annual charity auction. “Bloody awesome work,” its owners have posted in thanks to its patrons. The $3,080 adds to the $15,000 Urge has raised with the event over the years. Lots up for auction included $500 to spend at Caltex, a night for two at the Econo Lodge City Central Hotel and a host of meals and massages. Urge owner Alan Granville said it was a no brainer that OUTLine should benefit from the night: “They are one of the most important charities out there – a one stop shop for anyone dealing with GLBT issues and we are delighted that they have accepted our offer to help them.”
