Marriage debate hitting Auckland Uni tonight

Colin Craig (right) will attempt to take Louisa Wall on once again Auckland University will tonight host what promises to be a cracker of a debate with the moot: “This House supports the legalisation of same-sex marriage”. Bill sponsor Louisa Wall, LegaliseLove co-chair Bonnie Hartfield and Auckland University Students Association Queer Rights Officer Levi Joule will speak in favour of the motion. Colin Craig of the Conservative Party, ethicist and theologian Dr Matthew Flannagan and Chaplain of Auckland University, AUT and MIT Auimatagi Joe Moeono-Kolio will debate against it. There will be a question and answer session after the debate, which will be held at the University Library, Basement 28, from 7PM. It's part of the university's Politics Week. There will be a session on writing marriage equality submissions at 6.15PM.
