Council forum to focus on GLBTI issues

Cathy Casey An Auckland Council forum is this month opening its ears to the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and intersex community and all are welcome to come along. The Social and Community Development Forum is a small group of the Councillors chaired by Councillor Casey. It’s a space for the community to have a voice to the Governing Body. It combines council business such as l receiving reports on social and community development projects, with a theme, and this month its GLBTI communities. The forum will be held on 25 September at 1.30PM at the Leys Institute, 20 St Mary's Road, Ponsonby.
