Miss Mole For nearly three decades one diva has pretty much defined drag, big shows and in-your-face fabulosity in Christchurch. Who are you and what's your background? The name is Miss Mole. I am an international megastar, celebrating my 30th year in entertainment this year!!!! I am an event organiser, show-stopping showgirl, compere, host, and major star. Love being in the business of stardom. I have run the Christchurch Gay Oscars for the past 24 years... which have been fun, and a lot of work. Also had some fantastic people involved... and made some great lifetime friends. What do you enjoy most about organising the ‘Oscars' each year? It's so Hollywood. The most popular event of all time, so I've been told. People just love the community get together of this special event. What is the worst thing for you about being GLBT? The great negative attitude of some many people. They can always do it bigger and better... but never do. They can attack, hurt and criticise everybody and just be nasty. You get so sick of their bitchy comments about everyone and everything. What is the best thing? Friendship, fun and good times. As a team you can do great things and form lifetime bonds with some pretty amazing people. I'm lucky,I seem to know all the good people around the country and have some great friends... always helps!!! Relationship status? I'm single    GayNZ.com - 4th May 2006
