Rusty Kane A former New Plymouth mayoral candidate has resigned from the Conservative Party in response to its “anti-gay stance”. “I joined the party because it was for people’s initiated referendums, but it’s turned out to just be a Colin Craig party,” Rusty Kane has told journalism student Kyle Wasdworth.
