Moscow's top court has upheld a ban on gay pride marches in the Russian capital for the next 100 years.
Gay rights campaigner Nikolay Alexeyev tried to overturn the city council's ban, saying it was unjust.
The Moscow city government claimed it would risk causing public disorder and that most of the city’s residents do not support pride parades.
