OUTLine seeks interns as it moves offices

Wed 18 Jul 2012 In: New Zealand Daily News

OUTLineNZ is moving into new offices next door to its current Ponsonby HQ, and is seeking two interns to help out with a range of IT and reception duties as it gets up and running in the bigger space. “We’re on the move, albeit only five metres next door, but into a much bigger suite of beautiful offices which will become a hub for a number of rainbow organisations,” says new General Manager Timothy McMichael. “To help support us once we move, we are seeking two interns to help us with a range of IT and reception duties. We need two individuals who positively identify as coming from our community, who would like to gain experience in a community organisation which delivers a range of services, all aimed at improving the mental and emotional health of our community.” McMichael would love to hear from anyone who can offer one or more days a week on an on-going basis for a minimum of six months. “We can’t offer a salary, but can offer a thorough programme of induction, support, supervision and training, in a fun, accepting and warm environment,” he says. “We’ll also cover your reasonable travel expenses.” “Our lovely new well-appointed offices are right in the heart of Ponsonby, and right now there probably isn’t a better time to get involved with a rainbow organisation, with the forthcoming Auckland Pride and a whole range of other events happening both locally and nationally.” For more information, please contact Timothy in total confidence by txt or phone on 021 0269 7433 or email him at timothy@outlinenz.com.
