Fans emerge for alleged gay cannibal killer

Magnotta In a bizarre turn of events, fans of accused gay cannibal killer Luka Magnotta have emerged on the internet, pledging their support for him. Magnotta,a  29-year old Canadian is charged with killing his Chinese student lover Jun Lin, filming the killing and posting the video on the internet, tasting Lin's corpse, dismembering it and sending body parts to Canadian political parties. He was arrested after fleeing to Germany and is awaiting trial. The fans, mostly female, include women who have told North American news organisations that "I worry for him... I'm attracted to who is inside him. I'll support him no matter what," and "I adore the image he has created for himself." Another woman, who says she wants to visit Magnotta in jail, says she has viewed the video of the killing  more than 20 times. "I've seen worse in horror films," she says. "I really like horror films."
