Portrait of late diva Carmen up for auction

Sun 10 Jun 2012 In: New Zealand Daily News

A Hamilton community radio station is auctioning a portrait of Carmen, donated by Melbourne-based but Hamilton-raised street artist ‘Ha Ha’, real name Regan Tamanui. The signed stencil and spray paint portrait of the late diva is being auctioned on Trade Me. The funds it raises will go towards Community Radio Hamilton’s 89FM project. It will re-launch on full-power 89FM, Waikato-wide in August, an upgrade from its current AM and patchy FM frequencies. The station hosts the glbt show Flat Out Pride every Friday from 5PM. You can find the auction here
