GALS to celebrate community in next concert

Auckland's Gay and Lesbian Singers (GALS) are warming up to celebrate their community in their next concert Out in the City: Songs for Queer Auckland. The group says it will acknowledge community groups and events, from Queen of the Whole Universe to Dykes on Mics, and from Outline to Lesbian Elder Village. "GALS acknowledge GLBTI community groups by singing a mix of songs (some relevant, some irreverent) that will have your toes tapping and your heart swelling," the singers promise. Buying a ticket to this show will help support Circle of Friends, a memorial to those whose lives have been impacted by HIV/AIDS, or who have helped those whose have.
