8.55PM: Qantas flight QF113, bearing the newly-crowned Mr Gay World, Aucklander Andreas Derleth, has just touched down at Auckland International Airport. Derleth, Mr Gay New Zealand, won the world title against international competition in South Africa at the weekend. A small group of gay men has already gathered to welcome Derleth home. His partner Tom Linn is waiting amongst the group in the arrivals area feeling "terribly excited and nervous." It is expected to be some time before Derleth emerges following customs and immigration formalities.
