Mr Gay World 2013 to be held in Antwerp

Mr Gay World 2011, South Africa's Francois Nel Mr Gay World 2013 will be held in Belgium, as part of WorldOutgames Antwerp in August next year. The pageant will be held from 1-5 August 2013, with the Grand Finale closing off the first weekend of celebrations of the Outgames. "We are proud to be working with the WorldOutgames as we both have similar objectives in creating opportunities for us to share that gay Rights are human rights,” says Mr Gay World President Eric Butter. “Next year part of the competition will be participation in the WorldOutgames "Equality Forum" Human Rights conference that will help our delegates learn from industry leaders, be inspired, make global contacts and to share their own stories as well as participation in Sports and Cultural festival." Co-founder of the worldOutgames Antwerp 2013, Jerko Bozikovic says the organisers are proud to join forces with Mr Gay World, “since both organisations share similar values, therefore it seemed only logical for us to collaborate in creating a high standard, life changing, and fun event. We look forward welcoming everyone to Antwerp in August 2013." Mr Gay World 2012 is underway in South Africa, and the winner will be crowned overnight tonight. Mr Gay NZ Andreas Derleth has already taken out the sports challenge section of the competition. The winner of Mr Gay NZ 2013 will win a trip to Antwerp to compete in Mr Gay World.
