Club Ivy's owners decide against reopening

Sat 31 Mar 2012 In: New Zealand Daily News View at Wayback

Wellington’s Club Ivy has closed its doors and its owners have decided not to open in another location, as they had earlier planned. “After much agonizing and careful thought we have chosen to focus on other business opportunities,” says co-owner Greig Wilson. “We have simply been unable to locate suitable premises for both Ivy and Terrace Bar. “ “We would like to thank all our customers for their huge support over the years, it’s been awesome. Especially, special thanks to our absolutely fantastic crew of loyal staff, particularly Alan, James, Echo, Rose, Hugh, Harpe and our legendary head of security Scott. We have had an absolute blast over the years running Ivy and Terrace Bar. As one door closes another door opens."
