Shaun Robinson Just over thirty applications have been received for the newly-created position of General Manager of Operations at the NZ AIDS Foundation. The position, which reports to the Executive Director, was created when two top-level staffers, who headed up the organisation's then separate prevention and support teams, resigned late last year. "The Board and Executive Director both feel that a General Manager position is the best way to improve collaboration and co-ordination within the NZAF and to respond to the financial pressures caused by the loss of Ministry of Health inflation-linked funding," the NZAF said when it announced its intention in mid-December. When applications closed at 5 o'clock this evening thirty applications had been received of which ten were people "I would be very happy to interview," says Executive Director Shaun Robinson. He says the number of applications is "great" and shortlisting those to interview is going to be "a tough job."
