Bar doesn't like "gay c*nts", bouncer claims

Sun 4 Mar 2012 In: New Zealand Daily News

A bar in the Auckland suburb of Kingsland is facing an online backlash after one of its bouncers told a stag group he wouldn’t let “gay c*nts” in. Auckland music journalist Duncan Greive has tweeted: “Bouncer at Neighbourhood won’t let in ‘gay c*nts’. RT [re-tweet] if you’re not into it. PS Idiocy of trying to enter Neighbourhood is a given. My bad.” Grieve then explained: “Totally get not letting in stag dos. Really not into standing out front of a massive bar hating gays.” Neighbourhood and Duncan Grieve are now trending on Twitter as the story is shared and retweeted by disgusted users. Some gay regulars are already swearing off the bar, vowing not to spend another cent at Neighbourhood. Neighbourhood has been contacted for its response
