Who will take the title from Mr Gay NZ 2011 Aaron Comis? The hunt for the next Mr Gay New Zealand has been narrowed down to four finalists, and you can have your say on who you want to represent us at Mr Gay World in South Africa! Have your say. Online voting is now open and counts for 20 per cent of the final vote towards deciding who will represent and embody the spirit of New Zealand at Mr Gay World 2012. Mr Gay World 2012 is to be held in Johannesburg, South Africa from April 4th – 8th. The competition is about empowering gay men to be the best they can be and to share their stories with others from around the world. The successful candidate from New Zealand will have their flights and hotel expenses paid for the duration of the competition. All candidates will be staying at the luxurious Fairway Hotel Golf Resort, the host hotel for the event. With large international sponsors such as Lexus on board the event will be first class all the way. There are a range of activities planned throughout the stay including a drive with game rangers in safari vehicles, a sports challenge, panel interviews, soaking up the culture of South Africa, a charity auction and the Grand Finale taking place on April 8th at the Gold Reef Casino Lyric Theatre. The online voting is now open, the remainder of the New Zealand competition will be held around Big Gay Out on Sunday 12th February 2012 and at Family bar directly afterward, come along and meet the contestants for an enjoyable day out.
