Catch him if you can! Unfortunately the transgender writer Jan Morris, who also planned to participate, has had to cancel because of illness. On Friday 17 March the author of the acclaimed Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, John Berendt, features for an hour in a New Zealand Book Council event. He's out here with a new book about Venice: The City of Falling Angels. An Hour With John Berendt is at Auckland Art Gallery Auditorium.
