Suppression lifted for ChCh murder-accused

Fri 13 Jan 2012 In: New Zealand Daily News

Hayden Miles Name suppression has been lifted for the man charged with the murder of Christchurch teenager Hayden Miles. Unemployed man Gavin John Gosnell, 27, is charged with murdering Hayden on 22 August. He has been remanded in custody to 3 February, for completion of a psychiatric report. The 15-year-old's remains were found at a Christchurch cemetery in December, after police and family members spent months searching for him, and appealed to his friends in the glbt community for help. Two others are also charged in connection with the case; a man is charged with robbing Hayden and an 18-year-old woman is charged with being an accessory to murder.
