Wed 16 Nov 2011 In: International News View at Wayback

A Toronto Zoo official has confirmed penguins Buddy and Pedro will be reunited after breeding season. “There will be a limited time of separation, but it will not be permanent,” Tom Mason, the zoo's curator of invertebrates and birds, told PinkNews.co.uk. “If Pedro and Buddy wish to get back together, they will be welcome to do so.” Buddy, 20, and Pedro, 10, have displayed mating behaviours toward each other, including mating calls, standing alone together and grooming one another.
