Lesbian icon Melissa Etheridge will perform concerts in Auckland and Wellington in July. It comes after she cemented her global star status with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in September. The singer is known for her honest and confessional song writing style, paired with her bluesy rock-infused vocals that has seen her rise to the top of the musical spectrum since the her 1988 debut self-titled album that has reached double platinum in New Zealand.
