Meeting aiming to break down council barriers

The meeting will be chaired by Christopher Dempsey The next meeting has been announced in a group set up to provide "two way flow" between Auckland Council and the glbt community. The Auckland Council Community Reference Group will gather on 29 September at the Waitemata Local Board headquarters, at 35 Graham St, at 4PM. Chaired this time by Waitemata Local Board member Christopher Dempsey, the meeting is designed to bring together community group leaders and members of the glbt community, for an open discussion with Council representatives about current issues and insight on how the Auckland Council can be best accessed and utilised. Anyone who is interested in attending is asked to RSVP to: cissy.rock@aucklandcouncil.govt.nz
