Ex-NZ AIDS Foundation Chief Executive Rachael Le Mesurier is returning to work for the organisation to assist with a project targeting Pacific Islanders. Le Mesurier left the NZAF late last year, after seven years at the helm, amid concern that under her management the Foundation was increasingly at odds with the glbt community and other HIV organisations. The NZAF has yet to provide details of her involvement but GayNZ.com understands that she has been contracted by the NZAF's prevention team. It is believed that Le Mesurier's work relates to an extensive Pacific Islands HIV prevention and health promotion project in which the Foundation has partnered with the Pacific Sexual Diversity Network.
