Massively popular US vampire TV show True Blood has returned to the screen for its fourth season in the USA with another strong lebian character. Troubled character Tara has been paired up with a girlfriend called Naomi and the first episode of the new series features a remarkably steamy sex scene. The most recent annual 'Where are they on TV?' study by the US organisation The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) listed True Blood as the most gay-friendly show on American television with six regular or recurring lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender characters. True Blood stars openly bisexual New Zealand actress Anna Paquin.
